My research interests are in high-performance computing, distributed systems, cloud computing, AI, and Internet of Things. In particular I like to work on High Performance Computing - distributed and parallel file systems, and resource management; Distributed Systems - map reduce, in-memory frameworks, dockers and containers; Cloud Computing - virtual machine migration and placement; Internet of Things - edge computing, federated learning, and IoT applications; and Deep Learning and AI - optimization in AI applications, and using AI technologies to optimize resource management in distributed systems.
